Shree Ram Chemfood Private Limited (SRCF) incorporated under the Companies Act 1956 with an aim to manufacture and supply all types of edible and industrial salt that matched the international quality and standards.
SRCF participated International Salt Summit 2010 organised by Salt Department, Govt. of India, Industry Commissioner, Govt. of Gujarat and Indian Salt Manufacturer Association (ISMA) on 22-January-2010 at Ahmedabad which was Inaugurated by Shri Narendra Modi Hon’ble Chief Minister of Gujarat.
SRCF started its commercial production. Shri Babubhai Humbal - Chairmen of the company inaugurates the opening ceremony of the unit. The company launched Io-Plus salt as major brand playing vital role in battle against Iodine Deficiency. It conforms to FSSAI & ISI standards.
SRCF made a MOU with National Institute of Nutrition (Indian council of Medical Research), Hyderabad to transfer the complete technology and know-how for Double Fortification of Salt with iron and iodine. The company also planned to launch Io-Max Double Fortified Salt as a salt with iron and iodine for simultaneous prevention of iron deficiency anaemia and iodine deficiency disorders.
SRCF started commercial production of Low Hardness Salt (Pure Salt) in the name and style of “NutrIChem” and manufactured LH Salt with hardness below 150ppm, 100ppm, 80ppm and 50ppm.
SRCF held 1st Dealers Conference at Guwahati to celebrate its success of 2014 and its success and roadmap to double its target sale in 2015. The company launched 3 new products in the market which is Io-Lite – Low Sodium Salt and Io-Max Salt – Double Fortified Salt. Top performing associates and the distributors were rewarded.
SRCF has been awarded with the Prestigious “Best MSME Award 2012-13” by Industries Commissioner, Industries & Mines Department, Government of Gujarat, Gandhinagar for Growth in Production.
SRCF started commercial production of Low Sodium Iodised Salt with a brand name “Io-Lite” having low content of Sodium in salt.
SRCF organised its 2nd Dealers Conference at Siliguri to strengthen its bonds with its business partners and show its appreciation for the efforts made by its channel partners in jointly serving the consumers. During the conference sales manager and our channel partner celebrate the success of 2017 and shared road map to reach the target for 2018. Distributors actively participated in the conference, sharing their valuable feedback on specific initiatives. Top performing Associates and the Distributors were rewarded by the leadership.
Eating Fortified Food is one of the pillars of the Swasth Bharat Yatra on which it stands.. which is why on Track 6 in Assam, SRCF participated in the cyclothon organised by FSSAI and spread the message of “Eat Safe, Eat Healthy, and Eat fortified”. Io-Max Salt fortified with Iodine and Iron was sampled to the visitors.
SRCF enhanced its production capacity from 800 MT per day to 1200 MT per day by setting up a new unit at the existing site.

Equipped with advanced machinery, strict hygiene protocols, and a quality-first approach, this new unit enables us to deliver consistent, superior-grade salt products to households, retailers, and bulk buyers.
To make our premium range more convenient and consumer-friendly, we have also set up a dedicated unit for small pouch packing. This specialized line allows us to pack premium salts in attractive, easy-to-use pouches suitable for modern retail shelves, online platforms, and household use. These small packs come in popular sizes such as 50g, 70g, 80g, 100g and 200g offering better portability, freshness retention, and enhanced display appeal.
